Towards an unavoidable destiny
Graced by needless fight
A journey through my night

An existence now counting backwards
A greying life and an impending end
A symphony of questions 
Silenced by a cacophony sighing
Another unlived possibility
Another story now undone
Send my love to everyone

death is coming on his crooked wings
And I hear the lonely rain sing

Send the sun, for I wish to see the shadow
Send the wind for I wish to feel the chill
Send the bird and its cajoling trill
Send me life for in reality,
I wish to live 

An old shout 
Now fading through sighing echos
A memory buoyed on an ocean of tears
A final breath 
The birth of a death.
Of the two one has passed, 
A destruction of what had been amassed. 
"I" am no more.
